The Social Media Holiday Survival Kit for Fitness Instructors

The Holidays are right around the corner, and while it’s a great time to disconnect from all of life’s stressors, it’s important not to go MIA on your students. To make it easy on you, we came up with a few tips that will help you stay in touch with them on Social Media with fun ideas and efficient time saving techniques!

Check them out:

Schedule It– Your time is better spent with family and friends over turkey dinner than at the computer scrambling to post on Social Media. That’s why you should use Buffer or Hootsuite’s free post scheduling tool to save time.

Throw It Back– Take a trip down memory lane and use #TBT (Throw Back Thursday). Pick your oldest and funniest photo and share it with your students on that day (don’t forget to hashtag #TBT). In case you didn’t know, #FlashbackFridays also exists and you can do the same thing on that day. Two days down, five to go.

Find Your Inner Voice- #MondayMotivation is the perfect opportunity to share an inspirational line/quote. You can find a ton of them by searching on Google. Pick one that resonates with you and put your own personal spin on it. You got this!

Emojify It- Writing post copy takes time. We know. Keep it short by expressing your thoughts with emojis. This saves time, looks cute and is super engaging.

Be In the Moment- Use Facebook live or Instagram Stories to show your students what you’re up to. From fun ways to practice the basic steps to a friend/family reunion you attended, they’ll appreciate you including them.

Last but not least, don’t forget to wish all your students Happy Holidays!
