“What if we put together a group of male instructors for charity?” Greg and Peggy Rojas asked.
In 2013, that question was the beginning of “Tampa Men of Z (TMZ).” TMZ’s first event drew in nearly 200 participants and raised almost $1,500, and the group hasn’t turned back since. In less than 3 years, the group has raised over $6,000 for local causes and charities including Domestic Violence, The Humane Society, My Hope Chest, Human Trafficking, Food Drives for Thanksgiving and Anti-Bullying.
According to Greg Rojas, their motto is simple: “ ‘We dance. We love. We care. TMZ for a cause!’” Greg continued, “with such great success in a short period of time, I can’t wait to see what Bryan Acosta, Joey Miller, Johnny Roberts. Juan Carlos, Pablo Vargas, Peter Cintron, Rodney Bacho, Seth Federman and I can accomplish next!”
