#1: Excessive make-up
Sure, it may be fun to match your look to your Zumba wear (what else is that lime green eye shadow for?), but you’ll set yourself up for runny mascara and a mess of foundation. Bonus tip: sweat + moisturizer = burning eyes! Save primping for after class.
You may think a few drinks will loosen you up for the dance floor, but you risk shimmying into someone else’s spot, losing steam mid-class, or looking like this:
#3: Never-worn clothes
Trust us, you’ll want to try those new duds on before rocking them in class. Nobody wants to spend an hour tugging, lifting, adjusting, or, worst of all, worrying about a wardrobe malfunction! This goes for footwear, too.
#4: Exotic foods
And by exotic, we mean anything you don’t normally eat, especially before a workout. Need we say more?
