Learn more about their story, including their first impression of one another, in this special Q&A.

How did you two meet?
Kristyn: We met at our local gym, Heather started providing swimming lessons for my son. We started hanging out and the rest is history.

What was your first impression of your partner?
Kristyn: When I first met Heather I thought she was friendly and had lots of style.
Heather: Stunning.

What is your favorite song to dance to together?
Kristyn: My favorite song that we do together is “Don’t Call Me Up” by Mabel.
Heather: “Ella No Sigue Modas” by Don Omar.

What does it mean to see your significant other in a Zumba® class?
Kristyn: We love teaching together and we have quite the following. We have so much fun in our classes and our participants love our chemistry together.

Heather: I love seeing her happy and doing what she loves.

Describe your favorite attribute about your partner?
Kristyn: Heather is a very caring person. She would do anything she could to help someone. She has several jobs and some include firefighter and CPR instructor so she has made a career of helping others.

Heather: Describing one is hard, she loves me unconditionally and is very supportive.

How did Zumba® help you with your personal journey?
Kristyn: I started taking Zumba classes about 9 years ago and loved it. I got my license 5 years ago, and I absolutely love it. I love fitness and dancing, I love the friendships I’ve made over the years, and I love being a piece to someone else’s fitness journey puzzle.

Heather: It helped bring out my personality in front of people, plus I wouldn’t have thought about becoming an instructor until I met Kristyn. Now, I feel like we are the real housewives of Zumba (lol).
