Drinking Soda Linked to Gallbladder Cancer

You’ve read the reports and you know that sugar (specifically added sugar) is being linked to health problems more and more every day. While we know how important it is to drink more water and stay away from sugary beverages, it’s frankly easier said than done. But, a new study may be the motivation you need to hydrate correctly.

A recent Swedish study has linked the consumption of sodas and other sugary beverages to a higher risk of developing a rare form of gallbladder cancer. Compared to those who did not consume sugar-laden beverages, soda-drinkers had up to 79% higher odds of developing biliary tract cancer!
