Why Your Zumba® Friends are the Best(ies)

Going to a Zumba® class can lead to more than just discovering your new favorite workout. It can be the place where you form some pretty amazing friendships. Why? You’ll share some memorable moments, whether it’s the challenge of a particularly tough workout or the exhilaration of nailing new moves at your favorite fitness party. There are just things that your Zumba bestie gets that other people don’t. Here are some ways that Zumba friends make the best friends.

The Need to Spontaneously Dance: What else are you supposed to do when your favorite song from class comes on in public? You have to #LetItMoveYou, and only your Zumba besties understand why. Whether you’re in the grocery store, at a nice restaurant, or stopped at a red light in your car, your Zumba friends will be doing the reggaeton stomp right on cue, as if you planned it.

The Uncontrollable Giggle: We’ve all had an embarrassing moment in class, and it’s why you’ll never be able to get through the second chorus of Pitbull’s Fireball without laughing hystericallyOther people may be confused by your outburst, but your Zumba besties gets it – they were there that one time when

The Matching Outfits: Squealing like kids in a candy shop may be strange behavior for adults, but can you help it when you and your Zumba bestie show up to class in the EXACT same cut-out shirts and neon-heart-printed leggings? You know you didn’t plan it and it cracks you up every time it happens. Twinning is the best!

The Spot (You know, YOUR spot): You arrive to class at your regular time, but wait – a new student is standing in YOUR spot! After the initial shock, you look to your besties for a knowing glance and a chuckle. They’re the only people in the world who know why that 2′ x 2′ piece of property means so much to you.

The Call to Action: You’ve just plopped down on the couch… and your phone rings. Only your Zumba bestie knows what to say to get you up and out for class. It may be lyrics from the new song you love, or a reminder that your favorite instructor will be there, but your bestie knows exactly what will motivate you. And, once you’re there, you’re SO thankful you went.

Haven’t met your Zumba bestie yet? What are you waiting for? Take a class today!
