#ZINCON is Coming. Are You Ready?

#ZINCON is almost here! For those of you who’ve been to convention before, you know you’re in for heart-pumping master classes, one-of-a-kind events like our Fitness Concert, and specialty trainings with the best ZESs from around the world.If this is your first Zumba® convention, get ready for an unforgettable experience.
 
You might be wondering how to prepare, so here are our top 9 tips for getting ready for #ZINCON 2015!
 

1. Bring a backpack, water bottle, and hand towel

Expect to be on the go! You’ll want to carry some key essentials with you so you don’t have to run back to your hotel room in between classes and events. Be sure to have some cash on hand for quick purchases on the run, too.

2. Consider packing more than one pair of kicks.

Your feet are sure to be tired by the end of the convention, but you can stave off some of the discomfort by alternating your shoes. According to US News, this practice keeps your feet limber.

3. Keep an eye out for Beto.

No, really! He loves meeting ZINs and can be found roaming the convention halls. Pro tip: Beto regularly stops for selfies so have your camera ready!

4. Bring an outfit for the Zumba® Island Theme Party!

Wear your best island-inspired outfit on Saturday night for a chance to win our costume contest and to take some memorable photos. We’ll dance the night away to the hottest DJs and, of course, with ZESs and ZJs!

5. Have business cards.

One of the best parts of the convention is the opportunity to network with amazing ZINs from all walks of life. Be sure to take time to share your email address, Facebook page, etc. so you can keep in touch.

6. Bring lots of Zumba® wear, and save room in your luggage for more.

You’ll definitely work up a sweat in master classes, trainings, and events like the Fitness Concert, so be sure to bring a few outfits for each day. You’ll also want to save some space for all the new looks you can bring home with you from our huge Zumba® wear store!

7. Pack snacks!

You’ll definitely want to refuel (quickly!) between classes and trainings. Check out Prevention’s list of snacks to fuel your workout for ideas on what to bring. Make sure you stop by the Jamba Juice booth in the sponsor area for a delicious juice and burst of energy!

8. Use social media and win big!
