Who sweats the most across the globe?

When it comes to overall health, Qatar, Norway, Switzerland, Luxembourg, and Japan top the list of the world’s best places to live. But, what about when it comes to exercise trends? Despite widespread concern over obesity in the U.S., a survey of Europeans and Americans showed that people in the States exercise the most – an average of 135 days. By comparison, Italians average 96 days a year and the Dutch get about 93 days per year.

Another survey looked into inactivity rates across the globe. The least active country was Malta; perhaps its beautiful location in the Mediterranean Sea is better for lounging than for working out! Other countries rated as the most inactive included Swaziland, Saudi Arabia, and Argentina. Hard to believe with all of the Zumba® fun happening in these places!
