One Of The Youngest Zumba Instructors

Henry Cedeño always had a passion for music and dancing, ever since he was a young child. In 2002, he began taking Zumba classes alongside his mom and was instantly hooked. At age 11, he took his first class with Zumba creator Beto and was invited to share the stage with him.

Henry’s love for the program evolved from a hobby into a career. He recalled, “I became a licensed Zumba instructor as early as I could! I found teaching to be a fun way to spend my spare time and a great way to lose weight.”

Fast forward to 10 years and he’s still dancing on stage with Beto, only on a larger scale. In 2014, Henry was a featured presenter at the Zumba Fitness Concert at the Zumba Instructor Convention in Orlando, FL.

“Zumba has given me the opportunity to change my life in ways I never thought possible. While being an instructor throughout high school and college, it gave me direction with my life and career and also helped me to lose 30 pounds and be in the best shape of my life. I get to do what I love–helping students achieve their fitness goals while also achieving my own.”
