On working out with a friend: If we’re planking in class, I know my friend Michael is watching so there’s no way I’m not going to keep holding that plank!

On the best thing about a STRONG by Zumba class: It helps me work muscles that my body isn’t used to working (which is GREAT!)

On a post-class go-to-meal: Taco Bell – JUST KIDDING! After a great workout you GOTTA keep it healthy – I love a salad loaded with veggies.

On working out with a friend: It makes grabbing a drink after class that much easier.

On the importance of music in a group fitness class: Great music ranks right up there with how challenging the workout is.

On New Year’s Resolutions: To eat less junk food…or to work out more so I can eat the same level of junk food.

On working out with a friend: Because you have people to support you when I would otherwise struggle for a reason to leave the couch

On the best thing about a STRONG by Zumba class: It’s challenging AF!! My whole body is sore, and in a good way.

On a post-class go-to-meal: After last night’s class I ate an entire pizza and I’m only being honest because the truth will set me free.

On the best thing about a STRONG by Zumba class: The fun, upbeat music combined with the intensity. It’s perfect!

On a post-class go-to-snack: I usually do a protein shake or some apples with almond butter. The protein helps rebuild those muscles.

On New Year’s Resolutions: To go easier on myself. It’s OK if I can’t make certain people happy, if I can’t make an event, or if I need to relax and skip a workout. Life goes on!

Stephanie, 23, Deputy Entertainment Editor

On the importance of music in a group fitness class: The playlist is really important. It makes it more enjoyable when you can sing along with the music or learn new workout songs.

On a post-class go-to-snack: A banana.

On New Year’s Resolutions: To keep a steady workout schedule throughout the winter months and not get lazy just because it’s cold outside.

On the best thing about a STRONG by Zumba class: Once you’re in a rhythm, you don’t want to stop.

On the importance of music in a group fitness class: It’s very important! You need something that’s upbeat and high energy otherwise you’re going to want to fall asleep on your mat.

On New Year’s Resolutions: Actually sticking to a new workout routine! No distractions, please.
