Coconut water and a granola bar!!
It works great when teaching back/back Zumba classes!
I drink coconut water(low sugar)after and/or between Zumba workouts!
I walk 5 miles per day to keep my in shape & enegergized
My Mini Boost is to put my ipod on either to danza juduro by don omar (a very upbeat tempo song
)or any black eyed peas song and I get an instant rush that I just forget my midday sleepiness at work and keep on chugging
Peanut butter and cherry spread on toast.
My mini-boost is usually a piece of fruit or a quick jaunt around the office. either gets my blood pumping.
I liked to get up and do some stretching for an energy boost. I also grab a protein filled snack.
Quick boost is to grab a Balance Bar. May great flavors but the double chocolate brownie is a favorite.
i am ashamed to say it is either a diet coke or a piece of chocolate
My mini boost is a glass of juice (usually apple), and listening to music. Very good after a workout!
Kevin H
Any kind of high energy music!
I like to listen to 80s pop music during my workouts for a mini boost!
My mini-boost is a few minutes cuddling with my pup.
a smoothie with fruit, peanut butter, and yogurt
I like a woman’s shake from Trader Joes with nonfat milk!
Sadly, it is usually coffee but I am trying to change to more healthy pick me ups!
I take a 5 hour energy Berry drink
My mini-boost is stretching! It always helps to get up from my desk and do some full-body stretching (as discreetly as possibly, if people are in the vicinity).
The stretches perk up my arms, legs, and mind!
A little snack in the afternoon! I prefer almonds!
I drink a cup of hot tea in the afternoon to get through work (my fave is Harney and sons Paris tea). A spoonful of peanut butter takes me through my workout. Perfect amount of sugar and protein!
Peanut butter. Anything with peanut butter gives me a boost.
A afternoon nap does wonders for me.
A protein bar gives me a mini-boost during a work out.
I get my mini-boost by drinking a plant-based energizing smoothie made with equal halves of orange juice/coconut water and 1/4 cup of frozen mixed berries. Woohoo!
My Mini-Boost:: A really good laugh
crystal light energy and loud music
A great start to anyday is prayer, a bowl of high fiber cereal, and a Balance Bar for protein.
A hug from my kids!
great snack alternative to boost your afternoon
a quick 10 minute walked works for me
I drink a liter of cold water-always gives me a boost.
I drink a liter of cold water-works every time.
My “boost” is looking forward to a good book to read while I am on the treadmill at the gym!
my mini boost is getting out in the sunshine and blasting silly music like super mash bros and snacking on mango slices with hot sauce, crazy maybe but delish!
Protein bar, cold water, blasting fast beat songs, looking in the mirror and smiling!
MUSIC IS MY BOOST……THAT’S WHY I TEACH ZUMBA!!!!!
My go to boost during class is coconut water. Between classes, an energy bar. I’m SO excited that Balance Bar is making minis. I like the smaller portion-size … ideal for a quick snack.
For my afternoon boost, I drink an Advocare spark and crank up my zumba tunes for the nights class. Do a quick go over in my head and I’m all fired up and ready to rock my class.
Ice cold water is my boost.
I like to pull out the dress I’d like to wear on my birthday in a month! Then, I grab an antioxidant booster (sugar free powder) pop it into the water, shake it up…then it’s MY turn to go and shake it up! WOO!
My mini-boost is working with my middle school cheerleaders! I have practice with them, they get me pumped up, then I go teach a Zumba® fitness class. They are a mini-boost of energy, spirit, and enthusiasm.
My mini-boost is to listen to any lady gaga or Black Eye Pea songs and dance like no one is watching. And if they are… so what?
An apple and a coconut water pick me up!!
My mini-boost during a workout is a “fartlek”–a speed play. This is common among runners, but I apply it to any continuous aerobic workout (biking, elliptical, etc). I simply interrupt my workout with a burst of speed (e.g. 2 minutes as fast as possible). It’s energizing and increases fat-burning!
Going for a drive with some great jams and a diet coke for an extra boost! And of course a balance bar
Vitatops by Vitalicious!!!! Mmmmmmmm
I just discovered roasted red pepper hummus and carrots. Yum! Plus when I hit my slump, I listen to my Zumba class’ current playlist.
Music, Music and more Music.
Green Tea + “We Will Rock You” = I’m ready for more!
A good stretch, some seltzer and a quick jog in place always gets me going
My mini boost is a glass of cold water and some mango slices.
My mini boost consists of hot lemon water followed by egg whites and some fruit but first I do a 20 minute ZUMBA burst I gotta have my ZUMBA
Morning runs and Pratchett books on the iPhone.
