In 2005 fitness industry leader Augie Nieto was diagnosed with ALS (also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease). Today, he and his wife Lynne are leaders in a different field. As  co-chairs of the MDA’s ALS division, the Nietos work closely with The Muscular Dystrophy Association to raise both funds for and awareness around this debilitating disease via Augie’s Quest. Zumba Fitness is proud to partner with Augie’s Quest in it’s “Together We Dance” campaign, donating 75 percent of ticket sales from Zumbathon charity events, 30 percent of clothing sales, and net proceeds from special events featuring Beto and other Zumba celebrity instructors to this incredible cause.
