Get Your Little Ones Moving with Zumba® Kids


The facts are striking: Nearly 20% of American kids are obese or overweight – that’s almost 13 million children according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Although kids are supposed to get 60 minutes of structured physical activity per day, in addition to free play time, but school schedules are trading active time for academics more and more. Unfortunately, kids’ health is suffering.

That’s where Zumba® Kids (for ages 7-11) and Zumba® Kids Jr. (for ages 4-6) can help! These programs help develop a healthy lifestyle and incorporate fitness as a natural part of children’s lives by making fitness fun. It’s the same fitness party concept adults love, but modified for children’s bodies and minds.

Classes include a warm up, practicing a simple routine, learning about the culture behind an international rhythm, and playing dance-based games. It’s both fun and educational, and sure to get kids moving.
