We want you to be ready the next time you misstep on the dance floor. Here are five moves to keep in your back pocket just in case.

1. The Battle: Ever find yourself shimmying to the left only to realize everyone else is shimmying to the right – and they’re all staring at you? No problem. First, yell “dance battle!” as loud as possible. Then take your shimmy to the nearest person and break it down with your sassiest moves. They’ll never know your dance challenge was inspired by bad footing and quick thinking.
